Griffin Bucks is a declining balance card that works similar to a debit card using your university ID. To set up your account deposit a minimum of $25.00 into your account in the Business office. Each new deposit made into your account will receive a 10% bonus. The balance on your Griffin Bucks will carry over from the fall semester into the spring semester but not from spring to fall.
Griffin Bucks accounts are closed on the last Friday preceding the spring semester commencement. They are not refundable.
Your ID must be presented at the time of purchase. Participants cannot transfer a balance to a different account.
Residents can use this in addition to their traditional meal program but it does not take the place of the meal plan. Examples of how the resident students may use Griffin Bucks with the meal plan include but are not limited to the following:
